MEET OUR DOCTORS
Dr. Lisa Tran, OD
Optometrist
Dr. Tran graduated from the University of Toronto with a B.Sc. (Honours) in Human Biology. She then obtained her Doctor of Optometry Degree from the University of Waterloo and received clinical ocular disease training in Kitchener, Ontario and at Parkland Hospital Ophthalmology Clinic in Dallas, Texas. In addition, she traveled to Peru with VOSH International and to Mexico with I-Care International on volunteer mission trips to provide eye care to the underprivileged in rural areas.
Dr. Tran sees patients of all ages. Her areas of specialty include:
- Contact lens fittings
- Dry eye management
- Prevention, management and treatment of ocular diseases
She also works closely with many Toronto area ophthalmologists to co-manage and provide preoperative and postoperative care to patients who have undergone cataract surgery, have glaucoma, or have been diagnosed with diseases of the cornea and retina.
Dr. Tran, who is fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, is a member of the Ontario Association of Optometrists, Canadian Association of Optometrists and the College of Optometrist of Ontario. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling and spending quality time with friends and family.
Dr. Jingtao Qu, OD, PhD
Optometrist
Dr. Jingtao Qu has been an optometrist for over 15 years. She has obtained degrees and training at China Medical University (China), Kanazawa Medical University (Japan), and the University of Waterloo.
With her background in ophthalmology, Dr. Qu supports her patients by diagnosing and managing eye diseases such as cataract, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy.
Dr. Qu believes that healthy eyes and good vision play a critical role in personal wellbeing. Because the eyes change throughout one’s lifetime, she makes health education and disease prevention core aspects of her practice. She genuinely enjoys getting to know her patients and their families and building long-term relationships.
Dr. Manveen Bedi, OD, FSLS
Optometrist
Dr. Manveen Bedi pursued her Doctorate of Optometry at the Illinois College of Optometry. During her time there, Dr. Bedi was awarded membership to the Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society, Tomb & Key Honor Society, and a life long membership to the Gold Key International Optometric Honor Society based on her leadership efforts and academic performance.
After graduating, Dr. Bedi completed a residency in Cornea and Contact Lens at the Southern California College of Optometry at the Marshall B. Ketchum University. She focused on specialty contact lens fitting for corneal pathologies, aphakia, and prosthetics. Dr. Bedi is passionate about teaching and has lectured at local optometry societies and universities. She has written articles for Contact Lens Spectrum and presented at several meetings. She is a Fellow of the Scleral Lens Society and is currently pursuing her Fellowship with the American Academy of Optometry.

Dr. Vicky Chiu, OD
Optometrist
Dr. Vicky Chiu is an experienced member of our optometric team. She graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Science from the University of Waterloo and attended the Illinois College of Optometry where she received her Doctor of Optometry degree. She has completed her clinical rotations in pediatrics, binocular vision, ocular disease, low vision, and contact lenses at various hospitals and clinics throughout the United States. Dr. Chiu is board certified to practice in both Canada and the United States.
Dr. Chiu provides comprehensive health and vision care to patients of all ages. She offers full scope primary care services including pediatric eye care, ocular disease management, pre and post-operative management for various surgeries like cataract and laser vision correction as well as contact lens management. She is patient, compassionate, and strives to provide excellent clinical care to all her patients.
